Bosch AXT 2000 HP Silent Garden Shredder

Bosch AXT 2000 HP Silent Garden Shredder

Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

These compact quiet shredders offer you the same technical advantages as the large Bosch Quiet Shredders, e.g. strong "High-Power" motors and comfortable quiet shredding with only 84 dB(A). However, they feature particularly low weight and a unique spiral cutting mechanism. The essential factor for shredding is motor power. For this reason, all Bosch Quiet shredders have high-torque "High-Power" motors. They will shred your woody garden waste at only 84 dB(A), much more quietly than conventional blade shredders, which is why they have been awarded the "Blue Angel" environmental mark. They automatically draw in and shred branches into pieces optimal for composting. Which Bosch Quiet Shredder you choose will largely depend on the size of your garden and the thickness of the accumulating branches and shrubbery.

Nature gives back whatever your garden needs, as well as giving you the pleasure of nurturing growth with your own hands. Fresh, brown earth is the raw material of the garden, and you can make it yourself with a Bosch Quiet Shredder. The AXT 2000 HP has a unique spiral cutting mechanism that automatically draws in branches up to 38mm thick, with up to 115 kg/h material throughput.

Costumer Testimonials

This is the first shredder I've ever owned so it really is a bit difficult to make objective comparisons. Yet, I'm quite impressed so far. 'Silent' is a bit of an exaggeration unless you are stone deaf but compared to other shredders I've heard it is quite quiet and can be used in a built up region with out too substantially impact on the neighbours. Certainly a lot quieter than those mowers that only seem to function on Sunday mornings

'Shredder' is also a bit of a misnomer. It 'chunks' rather than shreds the woody components into 2cm pieces which, I guess, will lengthen the rotting method a little. Overall I'm certainly pleased with my "Bosch Quiet Branch Chunker" its particularly sturdy and looks like it will final for years. (See http://www.fredshed.co.uk/homepage.htm for additional rave evaluations)

I have never ever had a shredder prior to so I cannot compare mine with something. But, I am most impressed with my Bosch AXT2000HP. It seems in a position to shred practically anything I put in it - it can't do Rather massive branches, but then I do not anticipate it to. We all have our limits! It is rapidly and reduces the branches to beautiful tiny pieces about half an inch extended, which appear to rot down quickly in the compost bin. 1 thing that shocked me was the noise, or rather lack of it. Any cat owners out there will know how panicked most cats get at the sound of noisy domestic appliances. Well, my most nervous cat wasn't frightened by the shredder at all. She just tucked herself up about 2 metres away from it and watched it working with superb interest. (The other cats wandered off, equally unbothered.) Which shows how quiet it ought to be!

All in all, I would say that this is a excellent obtain, nicely able to cope with something you could give it to do, and invaluable in a tiny to medium garden with lots of modest tree prunings to dispose of.
